The Low Down on Our Ingredients

Sugar alcohols? Glycerine? Natural flavoring? Say whaa? Some folks might wonder what these ingredients are and where they come from, so we wanted to fill you in on some of the ingredients in your No Cow fuel!

Erythritol is a sugar alcohol (And no, it’s not the alcohol found in your happy hour cocktail). It adds some of that sweetness to the bars. It’s a natural sweetener made by mixing plant sugars from fruits like grapes and pears, with water. The mixture is then fermented using natural cultures and dried into a powder. BOOM! You got yourself a super low-calorie sweetener.

On top of that, we blend erythritol with monk-fruit and stevia (other natural sweeteners) to create the perfect mix of sweet. We’re showing you the sweet side of life – sugar-free. Erythritol has become super popular in the natural food market. It’s because of sweet thangs like this that we only have 1g of sugar in all of our products!

Non-GMO Vegetable Glycerine

Vegetable glycerin is a sweet, clear liquid that comes from plant-based oils. We use it in our products to help have a smoother texture – helps keep that good No Cow quality.

Natural Flavors

Natural flavors are purified extracts from things like spices, fruits, or vegetables. We use natural flavoring to create and enhance the flavor that you taste in our products. All of the flavors we use at No Cow come from real-food ingredients like blueberries and chocolate.

Sustainable Palm-Oil

Palm-oil comes from the fruit of the oil palm plant, and we use it to add moisture to our products. We were aware of the environmental issues with palm oil, so we went through the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) to make sure we’re getting it from a sustainable source!

Well, there ya have it! Questions? Suggestions? Feel free to reach out to us at and we’ll be happy to help!
